For 30 years, I have been helping children and entire families reach their potential and become contributing members of society, together with my dedicated, multi-disciplined team of highly professional and experienced staff.

As a pediatrician and family doctor in the local community, I hear firsthand from my patients about their distress and problems. Their pain is my pain. Some problems go unaddressed, while  others are treated partially. As a person, I am unable to ignore distress. That was my impetus to establish The Haifa Center for Children with Learning Disabilities (Chi.L.D.) – today: Arugot; and that is the reason I ran the Center, voluntarily, for close to 30 years.

Body and mind are one. I see optimal health as an outcome of the fusion between mind, body, and social interaction. That is what Arugot promotes.

The mission of the organization is to create a just society, providing equal opportunities for all, including challenged populations, whose needs would otherwise go unattended.

At Arugot all treatments take place under one roof. The approach is holistic, looking at each child as a whole, a world unto himself. The treatments enable our children to grow and flourish, to realize their dreams towards a better and brighter future, benefitting themselves, their families, and the entire society.
